STARFIRE S-5t SWEEPER TRUCK
The S-5t is a full-size twin engine mechanical broom street sweeper mounted on a conventional or cab over commercial chassis and manufactured for a hard day of sweeping year-in and year-out. Built with reliability and simplicity, the S-5t features a 5 yd3 debris hopper and an in-cab controlled variable sweeping path for up to a 11′ wide pass. Add a 350-gallon water system and a 12′ hopper dump height and you get the total package in street sweeping.
The environmentally conscious S-5t is SCAQMD PM-10 Rule 1186 Certified.

Key Performance, Productivity & Safety Features
Variable height dumping (up to 12′ high) with 53” hopper door reach easily reaches most dump trucks.
Quad (4) X-style hopper scissor lift ensures exceptional hopper stability when dumping wet, unbalanced, or sticky debris.
Off-set hydraulic elevator drive motor is protected against impacts.
Electrical relays and fuses are protected from the elements in a sealed NEMA 4 enclosure. The wiring is heat stamped with numbers for easy identification.
Vertically-mounted control panel is 6-way adjustable for easy ergonomic viewing. One-touch sweeping allows for operator to preset functions. Brooms raise automatically in reverse.
Main broom channeler (optional) effectively sweeps large quantities or bulky and light debris (leaves/pine straw). Self-adjusting as main broom wears.
Case drains for all the hydraulic motors protect shaft seals from pressure leaks minimizing repairs and replacements.
Spring-balanced, free-floating main and gutter brooms automatically apply correct surface pressure for maximum broom wear life. In-cab gutter broom electric tilt is standard.
59 HP Kubota turbo-charged diesel engine with high temperature/low oil pressure auto shutdown. This engine is quiet and fuel efficient.
